New additions to the Burberry Eye Wardrobe

Burberry is my long-standing obsession. I'm glad they don't release limited edition collections as often as Chanel or MAC do, otherwise I will be broke. It all happened on one spontaneous impulsive sitting, when I was needing some serious retail therapy.

Harrods has my recent discovery. They ship internationally for a flat fee of gbp 20, and they cushion everything into a beautiful black box amassed with bubble fillers. Nothing arrived smashed or bent. Since I live in the EU zone, I purchase from sites based in the UK, to avoid paying additional hefty taxes and import duties.

Lets see what I picked up? Is it just me, but do you always tend to buy more online than if you would in-stores?

If Burberry is famous for anything, it would be their eyeshadows. I could trade all my MAC, Urban Decay, Guerlain etc for Burberry. I have not touched a single MAC shadow in months now ever since discovering these. The only color I have yet to see in Burberry is a beautiful green. Blues, lilacs, and lavenders aplenty but missing a few greens (other than Khaki).

From left to right, clockwise direction: Blossum blush, Trench E/S, Almond E/S, Light Glow Primer, Pearl Grey E/S, Pearl White E/S, Midnight Plum E/S, Feather Pink lipstick, Midnight Brown Eye Shaper.

The above are my most exciting additions. Some non-neutrals to contrast my eye looks.

And some basics to the eye wardrobe. Trench and Almond look exquisite to use on a daily basis. I might be picking up Chestnut in the future.

I hope to share more of these beauties in my coming FOTDs.

Thanks for sharing the excitement with me today!

PS. I'm blogging from Taipei today, so the reviews will be up late since they are all at home in Denmark.

that's a great haul Tracy! I recently purchased quite a bit of Burberry from Saks.com. 7 items to be exact so you are not alone!;-)

OMG!!! That is a lot of Burberry porn! Oh gosh everything looks so so good. I don't have Trench, Almond and Pearl Grey so you must do a look soon, I want to see. Did you hear that there are palettes coming? Check out the news from Pretty Addicted.

I love the greys and the browns :) Burberry's blushes are also awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on them.

ahhh this is a dream box! Burberry beauty recently launched in Korea yet I haven't really looked into their products. Please let us know what you think about the lovelies you hauled this time! :)

ps. I'm leaving for Copenhagen in a couple days and I'd like to check out drugstore products including L'Oreal, Max Factor, etc. yet I don't know what is Denmark's representative (?) drugstore. Could you let me know if you have any advice? Also I'd appreciate it so much if you could recommend other places for beauty shopping. Have a great vacation in Taiwan! :*)

I'd loved to see midnight plum swatched. FYI: I just found out from the burberry MUA at Nordstrom that Burberry is coming out with new eyeshadow colors in the form of QUADS (!!) this August... Eek!!!!

What a great haul! *drools*, I am very glad we have a counter, because Burberry is just amazing (every colour seems so wearable). Blossom is a great colour for summer, I really like your e/s choices. Would love to see the grey e/s on you, I swatched it several times but ,still, can't decide (I struggle with grey sometimes *sigh*). Enjoy your time in Taipei Tracy <3

Omg, Tracy! That's a ginormous haul! I have Almond eyeshadow, but rarely use it. Thought the brown not too flattering on my lids, a bit dark. May be I should get Trench and Midnight Plum.

And I have Earthy blush. But I want that Blossum blush!

Hi April, the drugstores here are called Matas. Gosh cosmetics is the main drugstore brand but the Danes do shop a variety of other brands like what you find everywhere. I recommend you try some organic skin are as well as the tromborg line which are available duty free and Magasin. All shops are now on sales so you get a discount + vat back. Happy shopping.

Wow that is a very lust-worthy haul! I haven't tried anything from Burberry ... yet. From the sounds of it I think I need some of their eyeshadows in my life x
